Meta-typical skin cancer T1-T4N0M0

Metatypic cancer is a malignant tumor that is morphologically similar to basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma. It may develop as primary lesion; however, metatypic cancer more often develops from basalioma after close-focus roentgenotherapy (CFR). The metatypic cancer growth is more aggressive than that of basalioma.

Photodynamic therapy is a preferable treatment method in this case because the tumor is usually resistant to other therapies.

The leading Russian specialist in treatment of skin malignancies Dr. Pavel B. Popov has developed and successfully uses photodynamic therapy approach to treat metatypic cancer.
