Cervical Dysplasia of grade 2-3

Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is pre-cancer changes of mucosal membrane of the cervix.

A direct connection was revealed between human papilloma virus infection (HPV) and development of dysplasia (neoplasia) and cancer of the cervix

Treatment. Conventional treatment of grade III dysplasia implies cervical conization or hysterectomy with appendages.

The alternative to these damaging methods our clinic uses photodynamic therapy. This is a two-step treatment. At the first step we perform intravenous infusion of photoditazin.  After accumulation of the sensitizer in the pathologically changed tissue, at the second step the cervix is exposed to laser irradiation of 662 nm wavelength by means of a special tip, which provides even distribution of laser light across the whole cervical mucosal surface including the cervical canal.  This leads to necrosis and rejection of pathological tissue, thereafter necrotic sites are replaced by healthy tissue. Total epithelialization of mucosal membrane completes within 8 weeks. The method provides not only effective therapy of CIN III dysplasia and intraepithelial cancer, but also preserves ability for childbirth of the patient in future.

The P.B.Popov author’s methodology for treatment of papilloma virus associated cervical disorders provides complete eradication of the virus.
